Creative + Brand + Business

Testimonials

Don't take my word for it. Take theirs...

Alex has been the best leader I've ever had. She is the strongest advocate I've ever had as a designer, and she is fearless in how she always goes to bat for us. Plus, she made me realize good bosses can be good humans too.
- Graphic Designer, Yext 2023

I learned so much from Alex and her team in terms of applying data-driven decisions to creative, cross-collaboration, insight sharing...the list goes on and on.
- Colleague, Yext 2023

Alex is the perfect balance of being a strategic visionary who shows compassion and inclusion in all she does. A driven leader who is decisive, empowering to her team and fellow creatives, and an all-around great listener & sounding board for ideas.

- Head of UX Design, Yext 2022

Alex is one of the best Yexters I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She’s an inspiring people leader, and her team is one of the best and brightest I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, which I attribute to Alex’s vision and leadership.
- Peer Review, Yext 2022

Since Alex started, she really lit a fire under all of us - pushed us to be more than just a creative team, to explore things outside of work, always think about how we can do things better, and not get too comfortable.
- Graphic Designer, Yext, 2022

Alex maintains a seemingly unstoppable energy, pep, can-do attitude, and empathy-first approach. This empowers so many people from across the company to feel comfortable turning to her for feedback, advice, and help bringing out their best qualities, which she does through selfless mentorship.
- BuiltIn’s Moxie Award Nomination, 2021

It's difficult to recall a time where Alex didn't attend a Zoom meeting, come to a Slack channel, or participate in a new project without at least 5 solutions in hand. Whether it's a new brand campaign, announcement, or product launch, she has always been a master at soaking in - at lightning speed — the goals, target audiences, and mediums in play for a project before offering up a buffet of options to jumpstart discussions among stakeholders.
- BuiltIn’s Moxie Award Nomination, 2021

Alex is incredibly organized, and brings a much needed rigor to the creative director role. She takes an interest in career development, and in her short tenure in the role has taken steps to expose members of her team to new and different projects that align with their career ambitions. Her awareness of and interest in culture, diversity and inclusion is a huge asset, and her efforts have been tremendous.

- Yext Manager Review, 2021

Alex brings an empathy, understanding, and acceptance to her leadership role that is so refreshing. Since she joined the team, I have felt a positive difference in the Marketing department. She is a unifying figure who has a natural talent for bringing people together and bringing out their best qualities (which she does by selflessly coaching them). She is the kind of person who Yexters across the department can feel comfortable approaching and genuinely valued by. Alex has made it clear that she is always open to new ideas from people, regardless of their role, and constantly asks for other perspectives that end up actually informing her work. I am so excited when I get to work with her because I know that the project will be collaborative, that I will learn new things, and that I will have fun doing it.
- Yext 360 Review, 2021

Alex is a tireless and highly organized leader. Very focused on keeping individual team members engaged and growing their confidence, skills, and careers. She has a wonderful can-do attitude and diplomatic skills and isn't afraid to push back on things when necessary.
- Yext 360 Review, 2021

Alex loves pushing the boundaries and breaking the mold. "That's just how it's always been done" is a phrase she constantly questions and that style of thinking has helped her make such a positive impact at Yext.
- Yext 360 Review, 2021

“Alex's energy and drive is very motivating and helps the team move forward through tough times“
- Yext 360 Review, 2021

Alex has excellent design and management skills. She would be able to easily complete the most difficult tasks of a campaign or project herself, but she doesn't just reserve those tasks for herself by default. Instead, I have seen her push her team members to take on more complex tasks so that they can grow professionally and personally.

- Peer Review, Yext 2020

"Alex's enthusiasm and energy in developing her skills has been outstanding. She has also been a big help in discussing and implementing some key projects that have contributed to the overall cohesion and vibe of the design area. I appreciate her contributions to making our team the kind of place we want it to be."
- Viacom Annual Review, 2017

Develop Creative Products and Solutions: Alex has brought creative thinking to new formats and technologies."
- Viacom Annual Review, 2017

"Alex, I am very pleased to let you know that you have been identified among your coworkers as a top-level communicator — congrats! This means your coworkers all agreed that you represent the right combination of positive attitude, efficiency and pathos that garners great results when emailing or talking to fellow coworkers and clients."
- Department Nomination, Viacom

“Alex dives headlong into everything she works on—applying her talent, smarts, wit, and passion to a project’s strategy, execution, promotion, and anything else that needs to be done. And she doesn’t just bring it to her 9-to-5 assignments—she’s been a force behind several of the Quidsi Volunteer Committee’s recent efforts (and their great-looking flyers!), serves as the Creative Team’s Fun Force Chairperson, organizes team outings, happy hours, chalkboard sketches, going away parties, birthday parties, and countless other events that contribute to the Quidsi culture we all love. Oh, and as if that wasn’t enough, she started Wag.com’s Instagram account (a site she doesn’t even work on!) and maintained it daily for a year before passing it along to the team to maintain. Somehow, she also always finds the time to laugh, have fun, and enjoy all of these things she works so hard on. Alex has earned her nickname, for sure. She brings her 'A-Game' every day.”
- Employee Recognition Award nomination, Quidsi, 2014

You have been the best designer I've worked for. Very easy and CLEAR.”
- Freelance designer, Quidsi

"There’s a reason the creative team refers to Alex as 'A-Game.' She’s earned the nickname by bringing her best to everything she does. She brings talent, passion, insight, and a tireless work ethic to each project she touches, and is a go-to resource in our department. In addition, she brings her A-Game to the Volunteer Committee, the Fun Committee, and anything else fun-related."
- Quidsi, 2014

Alex has raised the bar for Quidsi design since joining the creative team in the fall of 2012. Since then, she’s become an integral part of Quidsi’s overall look and feel—on the strength of her outstanding work on Diapers.com, the Familyhood brand, various cross-site initiatives, and now on Soap.com. Alex has tackled—and beautifully designed—some of the company’s biggest, and most wide-reaching projects, created one of Diapers’ most successful social campaigns, and launched a bold new campaign as the lead designer on Soap’s Say No To Drugstores campaign.”
- Employee Recognition Award nomination, Quidsi, 2014

"Alex is so talented, bright, and exudes nothing but positive energy. It is so refreshing to work with a designer who truly understands a brand and brings so much creativity to her role. I have no doubt that she will play a leadership role in expanding the organization's brand and awareness citywide and nationally."
- Darin, former Vice-President of Marketing and Communications, NYRP

"Despite the stress and instability the marketing department has faced throughout the transition of the past nine months, Alex has managed her excessive workload – and sometimes seemingly impossible deadlines – with diligence, grace and thoughtfulness. She has consistently gone above and beyond what is required of her, at times not just meeting any graphic design needs, but managing entire projects on her own."
- Sarah, Public Affairs Manager at NYRP

"By nature of her job, Alex is constantly managing the expectations of numerous departments and does so with respect and professionalism. She is a great team player, constantly contributing constructively to any of the myriad projects she is working on. Alex's reliability is exceptional—she listens to all the feedback she is given and applies it comprehensively."
- Sarah, Public Affairs Manager at NYRP

"Alex is the first full-time, in-house Graphic Designer that I know of in NYRP's history and her presence has literally changed the way we, as an organization, are presented to the public (and internally). She has a lot on her plate—a lot of projects are coming to her that need her creativity—but she is always smiling, professional, and happy to help out."
- NYRP Employee Recognition nomination

"Alex has had to work on a number of teams under three different bosses over the course of one year. The majority of her projects require her to work on a team within her own department, and also interdepartmentally. She took on a lot more than what she was hired for, due to the fact that her [marketing] department was empty for some time, and did so with ease, flexibility, and leadership."
- NYRP Employee Recognition nomination

"The nature of her position requires her to work with almost every department in the organization. She is happy and willing to lend her talents to things as simple as a holiday party flyer and as complex as the Vibrant Cities Report materials. Her design style is creative and flexible, her attitude is professional and kind, and she will often offer her talents above what is expected of her."
